My feet are small and narrow. The stock spacing and arrangement of the brake and gas pedals for the 24 wrx made me feel like healtoe shifts were more sorcery than craft. I was only able to reach the gas cleanly when my foot was precariously at the edge of the brake and only in a very specific orientation that was nearly impossible to consistently hit while driving. Once I installed this spacer, healtoe is actually something I think I can do. Still need practice but the motion of braking and blipping the throttle is much more natural without contorting my foot. This is a great product.
Now the caveat. The instructions indicate that installation is around 30 minutes. Which is sort of true. The actual spacer is more like 10 minutes. However fighting with the replacement pedal stop is another story. The instructions say to push hard to begin threading the stud into the plastic. This was not possible without drilling out the hole, since out of the package it was way too small. Instructions also indicate that pedal stop is the last step after re-mounting the pedal. I would do pedal stop right after installing the spacer and then finish with re-installing the gas pedal.
