There are two main contributing factors when choosing the right gauge for you. Aesthetics and performance.  Analog Gauges use a pointer to display the information and this is most common type of gauge as many of us are used to seeing the sweeping motion at the needle rises up across the display.  Alternatively, the Digital display is quickly becoming more popular as the clean crisp display clearly shows the digital readout. Performance, Digital, & EVO Series: This is our entry level gauge that gives you great overall performance at an affordable price point. Most are dual color, each gauge includes the pigtail wire harness, sender, instructions and lifetime tech support.

Are Mechanical Gauges faster responding then Electric Gauges?

Long ago the answer was yes, but within the last 10 years the technology in senders and Stepper Motor movements (all Electronic Prosport gauges use Stepper Motors t drive the gauges) has evolved to be just as responsive so they are in fact about even now and the difference is so small its negligible.
