For a good balance of price and performance, Invidia offers the motorsports enthusiasts a strong line-up of Invidia N1 Exhausts that are constructed with high-quality SUS304 stainless steel, CNC-machined flanges, and manufactured with a polished finish. Each system features mandrel-bent stainless steel piping for maximum exhaust flow and reduced back pressure. These exhausts are engineered to produce strong mid to top-end power gains, as well as an increase in horsepower and torque.

Note: A OEM Downpipe to 3in Cat Back Adapter may be necessary if the diameter of the new cat-back exhaust systems piping is different from the stock system, or if there are compatibility issues between the new components and the existing downpipe.

Does this need an adapter?

If you are mounting this to your OEM downpipe you will need the OEM downpipe to catback adapter. If you are mounting to an aftermarket downpipe, no adapter is needed.

Will this fit a 2018 forester xt?

Unfortunately, it will not.

Great exhaust the install wasn’t too difficult and sounds a lot better than from stock and looks a lot better too and it isn’t too quiet or too loud either.

15 Forester XT. Great looking exhaust. All the welds/hardware are excellent. Goes in really easy did it in the driveway on ramps solo and only took about an hour. Sounds pretty clean I wouldn't say real loud or annoying (but that's my opinion). Does give that nice low rpm boxer grumble.
Does seem to be a clearance issue at the driver-side rear lower control arm. It pretty much just sits against it even after multiple times adjusting. Also either one tip is straight or the other. It's pretty and sounds good but I can't say I would purchase it again.
