Our team specified the highly efficient 4″ thick intercooler core based on years of motorsports experience which will help keep your intake temps lower and maintain the maximum power output of your WRX, no matter the conditions. With a 71% increase in core size over factory, higher volume cast aluminum end tanks, and TIG welded by hand in the USA, the AMS Performance Top Mount Intercooler redefines heat management for the FA24 engine.

Easy fit, took about 20 minutes. Welds look great. Brought down the manifold temps down dramatically

AMS Performance Top Mount Intercooler Silver (2022–2024 WRX)

This intercooler is a beast. Fitment was spot on for my 2023 WRX, and the quality feels premium right out of the box. Throttle response and temps have noticeably improved, especially on back-to-back pulls. Highly recommend if you’re looking to keep things cool under boost.

Great Intercooler.

AMS makes very high quality stuff at a fair price. AMS is becoming my go to for performance parts. They don't gouge on prices like so many others do and they have excellent R&D on their products.

Great build quality

I installed this myself and have an ADD W1 catch can on the bracket as well. For some reason the factory mounting brackets required modification to accommodate this TMIC. They simply wouldn’t line up properly without enlarging the mounting holes to accommodate a shift in placement. Can’t be certain if the catch can played a part in that or not. Once the brackets were modified I’m very happy with the IC

Huge TMIC

This is a giant TMIC. Felt twice as heavy as stock. Nice quality and fitment. Install went smoothly, it just slid right into place. AMS does a great job at packaging their parts with giant foam pieces trimmed to fit the parts just right. I applied gold heat tape to hopefully help against heatsoak somewhat. Now I just need to install their Intake and get it tuned.
