This BORLA® Cat-Back™ system is tuned for performance and sound for both the 2.0L engine in the WRX and the 2.5L engine in the STI. Our S-Type sound level is designed to bring out the Subaru Boxer engine rumble and provides an aggressive sound without the drone. This system features 3.5” quad polished T-304 stainless steel tips in Ceramic Black. For ease of installation, this Cat-Back™ is a direct bolt on part and does not require cutting. Like all BORLA® exhaust products, each system is handmade in the USA by master craftspeople and features premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel construction, ultra-smooth mandrel bent piping, and a Million-Mile Warranty.

Excellent deep rumble on STI, without being obnoxious

I went with the Borla S Type to replace a Nameless muffler delete catback that was just too excessively loud. The Borla sounds mean when you want it to, but not too extreme. The install was nice and easy, fitment is great and the whole kit was well made

2015 WRX Borla S Type

Installed this cat-back on my 2015 wrx and it sounds great. No drone at all on the highway and some nice turbo sounds now that I have it.

Sounds Great, Looks Great.

I love the sound and love the look of the s-type. It pairs wonderfully with the Cobb J-pipe. Install took about fifteen minutes with the back tires of my WRX on ramps in my driveway.

Quality but slightly disappointed

Cat back exhaust looks great made with real quality my only gripe is that it doesn’t sound as aggressive as I would like.
