Here, you are looking at the Whiteline Rear Diff Positive kit bushing kit. 

Thee bushings are designed to reduce the initial torque loss and movement through the rear differential mounts during acceleration and deceleration. These inserts fill in the voids that are in the OEM bushings and help to stiffen the rear differential. They are a great upgrade for anyone looking to improve the performance of their car.

Features: 

  • The latest in material formulation technology boasts resistance to oil, grease, ozone and weathering.
  • Supplied with extreme pressure molybdenum disulphide (LM) based grease for extended life.
  • Internal grease reservoirs provide continual self-lubrication for optimum friction management.
  • Inserts are designed to work with the original factory bushing rather than replacing it.
  • Protective plating on all metal components acts as a hard skin that is much tougher than conventional paint allowing this product to withstand the toughest conditions and resist corrosion for years to come.

Planted in the rear, shift without fear!

Before I give my response to these rear differential positive power kit, I’d like add that I’ve also replaced the shifter bushings front/rear, the positive shift bushings for the crossmember, the front swaybar bushings, and a new superpro 24mm rear swaybar with new endlinks and support braces!

I’m completely blown away with the changes these inserts have made in the drivability of my car! Night and day and midnight again! And just for reference my car is a 2016 with 100,000 miles on it and just by installing these, has taken it back 80,000 miles!

No bogging, almost no torque loss on acceleration, and or down shifting! Don’t wait, installing wasn’t to bad, used some of the supplied grease to help get it fitted than torqued down.

If you want to relive that new car frame body feel, don’t hesitate, remember new car, and I’m on coilovers!

Im not sure how everyone else had their install go , but I cannot get any of the rear diff bushings to fit even with grease, the fitment is EXTREMELY snug. It’s been frustrating to say the least.

UPDATE: a trick to make them fit in mounts that are not broken in is to take a razor blade and poke it all the way through the slots to allow easier fitment of the bushings. Once you’ve got the washer on simple push it into place by tightening the nut on top of it. My WRX only had 13k miles at the time of install, I suspect its more difficult because of this. With the pitch stop, and these bushings i noticed an improvement coming from a stop, and hardly (if any) NVH increase.

Great addition!

Great addition to firm up the driveline. Installations was very quick, taking less than 30 minutes start to finish. Small, but incremental difference in driveline stiffness I have noticed. Worth the price and a good compliment to other mods such as an upgraded trans mount, pitch stop, etc……

It’s so small but helps so much

I wasn’t expecting much from the inserts but I had the JDM STI Mount and Whiteline positive shift kit bushings in my cart already so I figured why not for the price. They make the car way more enjoyable to drive. You can’t beat the price and it’s easy to install. It did take me longer than expected but that’s because I installed them with a sprained wrist.
