The PERRIN Diverter Valve for 2022+ WRX releases boost pressure more naturally for improved drivability. It features a durable, 100% recirculating, boost leak-free design with no seals to wear out and a long-lasting red anodized finish.
The install was very simple, my car’s response is way better than with the factory bypass valve. I suggest getting a syringe that you would use to bleed brakes to hold vacuum. Mouth with just hurt your tongue.
Paul,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review! We are glad to hear that the Perrin Diverter Valve was easy to install and has improved your car's response. Great tip about using a brake bleeding syringe for vacuum—it is always helpful to find ways to make installation smoother! Enjoy the performance boost!

I have a tune with most of the bolt on upgrades it works fine when daily driving and when you drive more aggressively it releases and you hear a small swoosh. Works as intended and more fail proof than an electronic in my opinion. Make sure to use silicone sliding the hose connections and the T connector is pointed up behind the alternator or you will break the fitting after it’s installed.
JR,
We appreciate your 5 Star Review! The Perrin Diverter Valve sounds is a great choice, especially with your setup! It is awesome that it performs well for both daily driving and spirited sessions. Good tip about the silicone for installation—definitely helps avoid issues. Enjoy the swoosh sound!
Regards,
After a relatively involved (but still easy) install, I notice an immediate improvement in driveability. Even my wife noticed a much smoother acceleration. Even though this is a recirculating diverter valve, we still hear the classic pshh sound sometimes, although a bit quieter.
Installation had a lot of steps but was actually not too hard. Honestly the hardest part was putting the skid plate back on under the car, but I have the metal skid plate accessory so it was an extra step for me. Otherwise this is something anyone can do. I found it easier to remove the PCV hose going into the turbo inlet as well as the rubber intake hose, but I didn't remove the turbo inlet like they suggest you might be able to for easier install. If you don't remove it, you'll just need a long T30 screwdriver or bit to reach the stock valve.
Kyle,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a 5 Star Review for the Perrin Diverter Valve. We are thrilled to hear that you noticed an immediate improvement in driveability after installation. We are also happy to hear that the install process was relatively easy for you, and we appreciate your tip about removing the PCV and intake hoses. Thank you for choosing Subimods!
Regards,
Very easy and straightforward install, plus a nice sound to it. Just make sure you start out with the shorter spring first unless you are aggressively tuned. If you are running dmann tune with intake I suggest the shorter spring, the car responds much better.
Mikhail,
It sounds like the Perrin Diverter Valve was a great addition to your setup! The straightforward installation and improved response with the shorter spring are definite pluses. We appreciate your 5 Star Review and we hope you enjoy the enhanced performance!

Give the car a more pronounced turbo sound and car has a better feel when accelerating, then letting off. Most challenging part of install was getting hose fitting on.
D.,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a 5 Star Review! It is great to hear that the Perrin Diverter Valve has improved both the sound and drivability of your vehicle! Enhancing the turbo sound and improving acceleration characteristics can really add to the driving experience. Dealing with hose fittings can sometimes be tricky, but it sounds like you managed it well.
