Why You Want This

Many people experience a burning oil problem and blue smoke coming from their exhaust. This problem can worsen after installing a cat-back exhaust, J-pipe, or turbo-back exhaust system. The installation of these parts can cause a change in exhaust pressure that allows engine oil to escape out of the turbo seals, causing the burning oil smell and blue smoke. The PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor quickly eliminates this issue!

How the PERRIN Part Works

The PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor makes the turbo sump pump more effective at sucking oil out of the turbo sump. This in turn creates a slight vacuum on the turbo sump creating a proper balance of exhaust pressure and vacuum on the turbo seals, significantly reducing the amount of leaking around the turbo seals. This does not change the oil flow to the turbo or create any wear.

Why wait this helps reduce the smoke almost to none and the smell sometimes is there for the moment and it could be from the years with out this sump restrictor burning all the oils left . I did notice my exhaust tips arnt getting black like they use to . 10/10 I recommend and don’t wait any longer it’s a little of a hassle for the space but does not take long but getting the tube that’s in the stock taking it apart is a pain

Works as good as they say

Had a good amount of oil burning after idling a while, installed this and now after a couple days of burning it off no more smoke

didnt have any issue with smoke before, and didn't want to have an issue. So installed this pre-emptively. easy to install, no issues so far.
