Fix both the burning oil smell and blue exhaust smoke problems by installing the PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor! 

The PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor makes the turbo sump pump more effective at sucking oil out of the turbo sump. This in turn creates a slight vacuum on the turbo sump creating a proper balance of exhaust pressure and vacuum on the turbo seals, significantly reducing the amount of leaking around the turbo seals. This does not change the oil flow to the turbo or create any wear.

Many people experience a burning oil problem and blue smoke coming from their exhaust. This problem can worsen after installing a cat-back exhaust, J-pipe, or turbo-back exhaust system. The installation of these parts can cause a change in exhaust pressure that allows engine oil to escape out of the turbo seals, causing the burning oil smell and blue smoke. The PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor quickly eliminates this issue!

Better safe than sorry!

Quick add while I things torn apart to install a new charge pipe. Stock clamps are a bit of a PITA to remove. Easier to remove the whole hose assembly and then assemble everything on the workbench before reinstalling in the car. Added all new work drive clamps to get rid of the stock single use clamps.

Turbo sump

This did help get rid of the oil smell after putting on a turbo back exhaust (catless).

21’ WRX installed looks OEM (which I loovvee) aside from the Perrin badge you would never know, just be careful while disassembling the OE parts being reused cause I was cussinnnnnnnn for a lil bit , cause I read the instructions after I almost jacked it all up , don’t be dumb like me
